Ikebana principles in this month's arrangement:
I love layering my materials in an arrangement because, when done correctly, it creates depth. Techniques like angling and twisting your leaves, and placing flowers underneath and in between your leaves will help keep your arrangement from becoming flat!
Pro tip:
Don’t stress out if your arrangement isn’t an exact replica of the pictures. The goal is to incorporate leaf manipulation techniques into your arrangement, so celebrate the differences!
Care tip:
Soak your entire dendrobium stem (including flowers) in water to help it hydrate.
Change the water in your vase by running your vase under a tap for a couple of minutes. This allows the old water to flow out and fresh water to flow in.
