Ikebana principles in this month's arrangement:
In ikebana, “unconventional materials” refer to any materials that are not fresh flowers. Incorporating unconventional materials into an arrangement allows you to stretch your imagination, because these materials can be used in ways that fresh flowers cannot. You could make an arrangement using paper, plastic, ribbon, wire, or any other interesting materials you come across!
Safety tip:
Be careful handling the wire ribbon so you don’t poke yourself!
Care tip:
Prolong the life of your arrangement by displaying it in a cool spot.
Change the water by running your vase under a tap for a couple of minutes. This allows the old water to flow out and fresh water to flow in.
