Covid-19 update


Hi Banaboxers,

I hope you are staying safe and healthy during these uncertain and challenging times. After careful consideration, we have decided we can continue to offer our monthly flower deliveries while keeping our employees, partners, and customers safe. We will be taking all necessary precautions to make sure Banabox operates in a safe environment, and our flower suppliers and Fedex have assured us they are doing the same, including the following: 

1) We have implemented best-practice health and safety precautions, including working remotely, setting up workstations over 6ft apart, and disinfecting facilities more frequently. As we adapt to the situation, you may see a few other changes at Banabox - for example, our video this month may look a bit different as we practice social distancing

2) Fedex has suspended signature requirements, is supplying gloves and personal protection equipment to team members where needed, and is implementing temperature checking of team members

3) Our flower suppliers have put their staff on a rotating schedule and implemented no-contact delivery

When I started Banabox I hoped to build a community of fellow ikebana lovers. In these uncertain times, when we are disconnected from the most important people and activities in our lives, I hope that ikebana serves as a way to add some joy to your day and brighten up your home.
