How banabox works

Customize your kit

Customize your starter kit and tell us what day you want your first banabox to arrive.

Starter kit includes a vase of your choice, a classic pair of ikebana clippers, and a kenzan to secure your flowers. Please note that starter kits are only provided with your first order and will be used each month.

Receive your banabox

Your banabox includes everything you need to get started, including fresh flowers and step-by-step instructions (print and video) on how to create your arrangement.

Flowers are shipped express overnight and arrive on Friday during the day. You can get started right away or place the flowers in water until you are ready.

Each month's lesson will feature unique flowers and help improve your ikebana skills while you create a beautiful arrangement for your home.

Kenzans have sharp pins that hold flowers in place. Metal kenzans are traditionally used in Japan, but please be aware the bases are made of lead **not dishwasher safe and should not be handled by children**
